After a couple of nights sleeping on the floor of the kindergarten, our centre of operations, we managed to rent a room in this house, only four of us in the one room too, sometimes five. I did get attacked in the street by three blokes late one night after doing a late night transmission for CNN. Lucky for me they ran off when a car started to come around the corner and I got away with my life and only a couple of cuts and bruises - they never got the bagfull of dollars I was clutching either.

This was what you might call the high street just around trhe corner between our kindergarten and our house. The area is all below sea level and flat as a pancake for miles. It was January and conditions varied between being just above freezing with mud absolutely everywhere but mostly down to about -25 and snow and ice.
